General Information
Floor indicators (tactile guidance elements) are used to provide barrier-free orientation in public spaces. They enable blind and visually impaired people to navigate safely and independently in transport facilities, squares, paths, stops and public buildings. Guide strips indicate the direction of travel, while raised dots signal changes in direction or danger points. With Terrasoft floor indicators, paths to playground equipment can now also be designed to be both visually and tactile. The elements, which are certified according to DIN EN 1176, will be available in all thicknesses from 2026 and can be quickly and easily integrated into the installation pattern.
